Grass Fed Chuck Roast with Organic Sweet Potatoes

Made in the Instant Pot which you absolutely need because your life is busy.


I literally cannot stand when people give you a life story about a dish. It is so dumb.



Behold, the recipe at the beginning of the page.


Ingredients:


  • 3 pound grassfed chuck roast. Get it from a local farmer if you can. If not, dont sweat it this time

  • 2 tbsp beef tallow or ghee

  • 16 oz. Organic Beef Bone Broth

  • 1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar

  • 1 rbsp. Liquid Coconut Aminos (soy free)

  • 2 Large organic sweet potatoes cubed

  • Pepper to taste

  • Salt to taste (Redmonds Real Salt not freaking Mortons) Pink Salt will work in a pinch. Pun intended.

  • Organic Italian Seasoning

Directions


Directions should always be short and to the point.

  1. Turn Instant Pot on to the sautee setting. Melt tallow and shake salt, pepper and italion seasoning into the bottom.

  2. Add Chuck Roast and sear on side 1 for 4 minutes. While, that is searing, liberally apply salt, pepper and italian seasoning to other side. Flip and sear for 4 minutes.

  3. Turn instant pot off.

  4. Add in beef broth, vinegar, aminos, sweet potatoes

  5. Turn instant pot to seal and set to manual for 60 minutes.

  6. Let slow release for 10 minutes, when finished, then quick release the rest.
